Trash Day

Today was beautiful.  Just enough over 80 not to be too hot, yet warm enough that the wind would not bother anyone.  I loaded my little girl into her wagon and set off for the park.  I've been taking her for at least a mile walk every night as part of my effort to get back in shape and also to get ready for another trip to Disney this Fall.  So, pull the wagon half a mile or so, get to the park and notice the township had spread fresh mulch down.  I was excited since the main reason I don't go to my little park play yard too often is that so many of my neighbors think it's a good idea to let their large dogs crap all over while their kids are playing.  Much to my dismay, we get in there only to discover that somebody had taken one of the garbage cans and spread the contents all over the jungle gym.  They didn't just knock it over; the trash was strewn everywhere.  So much for slide time.  Tomorrow we'll get in the car and drive to one of the better parks in the area.

On the brighter side.  I stayed up late last night and painted a few section of the living room/foyer and managed to do the ceiling trim.  Hopefully next week I can attempt to tackle the 25 foot high side walls.

Thanks for your comments on my blog.
Good for you trying to get that painting done. Two summers ago, I redid my whole bathroom. I still havent's painted the crown moldings or even the new doors.
Hey, I'm a designer, not a painter.
