Return of the SAHD Guy

Has this blog really been languishing since February?  I'm sure I can find a few excuses around here somewhere....  The irony, looking at my last post, is that we just booked yet another trip to Disney World; the week after Labor Day this time.  Weather should be flaming hot nice enough to go in the pool and it's the lowest attendance week of the year.

What have I been up to over the past four months?  Well, for starters I've actually been making a little progress on some home projects, primarily getting the living room and foyer painted.  It's the most disjointed room I've ever seen and, as any parent knows, toddlers are all too eager to help with whatever you're doing!  In light of my revelations about home projects and how long they will take, I have re-focused my days around the family.  Kids are only kids for so long I plan to make the most of my time as a stay at home parent.

That's it for now.  Maybe I can find a bit of time now and then to put more effort into this blog.  For now, my Alton Brown / Good Eats blog and my Twitter feeds get all of the attention.
